Opening June 2026 for home-based OT services

San Tan Little Hands provides individualized, in-home pediatric occupational therapy for children and families in San Tan Valley and surrounding communities. We partner with parents to support development, confidence, and independence through meaningful, play-based therapy.

Is Occupational Therapy Right for Your Child?

Many parents come to us with questions — not diagnoses. If you’re noticing challenges that affect your child’s daily life, occupational therapy may help.

We work with children who experience difficulties with:

  • Fine motor skills (writing, cutting, buttoning, grasping)

  • Sensory processing and regulation

  • Emotional regulation and transitions

  • Self-care skills such as dressing and feeding

  • Attention, focus, and participation in routines

  • Play skills and engagement with toys

If something feels “harder than it should be” for your child, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Our Pediatric Occupational Therapy Services

We offer evidence-based, child-centered occupational therapy tailored to your child’s needs and family goals.

In-Home Occupational Therapy

Therapy provided in your child’s natural environment allows skills to generalize more easily into daily routines. Sessions are designed to be practical, meaningful, and engaging.

Sensory Processing Support

We help children better understand and respond to sensory input so they can participate more comfortably in everyday activities.

Fine & Visual Motor Skill Development

Targeted support for handwriting readiness, grasp development, coordination, and visual motor integration.

Self-Care & Daily Living Skills

Building independence with tasks like dressing, feeding, hygiene, and transitions.

Family Education & Collaboration

Parents are an essential part of therapy. We provide guidance, strategies, and support so progress continues outside of sessions.

Play Skill Development

Helping children develop play skills that support connection, learning, and participation with others.

What Parents Often Ask

How do I know if my child needs occupational therapy?

If your child is struggling with daily activities, routines, or participation compared to peers, an OT evaluation can help clarify strengths and areas for support.

What ages do you work with?

We work with children across early childhood and school-age years. Please contact us to discuss your child’s specific needs.

Do parents participate in sessions?

Yes. Parent involvement is encouraged so strategies can be carried over into everyday life.

Do you accept insurance?

Coverage varies. We accept HSA payments, ESA Class Wallet and private pay. We are happy to discuss payment options and answer questions during your initial call.
